SaaS redesign with research and generative AI
Redesign of SaaS platforms with an international team, focused on usability, scalability, and standardized flows: user research, generative AI prototypes, and business rules documented for delivery.
- Who did it
- Douglas Dias, Specialist Product Designer (before dtxtech)
- Sector
- SaaS · international team
- Deliverables
- Stakeholder and user research, usability tests, flows, wireframes, high fidelity, business rules documentation
The problem
SaaS platforms needed a redesign focused on usability, scalability, and standardized flows. Before designing, the difficulties and opportunities had to be mapped with stakeholders and users.
What was done
Douglas ran research with stakeholders and users, and planned and conducted qualitative research and usability tests, in person and remote. He used generative AI to validate ideas quickly and prototype interfaces. He created flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces in line with the design system. He facilitated co-creation sessions and alignment between Product, Design, and Technology, documented business rules, and supported the development team during delivery.
What changed
The redesigned interfaces followed the design system, and the development team received the business rules documented for delivery. After launch, metrics and feedback were analyzed to guide continuous improvements.
